Saint George Beach in Naxos Town is the most famous resort in Naxos Island. It is located at the so named bay and it is 1 kilometre long with fine sand and shallow waters that make it safe for kids. It has an excellent tourist infrastructure and offers a variety of beach entertainment (clubs and restaurants) and provides with provides all kind of services may be required, including mini markets, laundry, car and motorbike rentals.

The Archeological Museum with findings from excavations that prove proof of the uninterrupted cultural presence in Naxos from pre-historic times until the end of the ancient times. The museum is housed in the building of the former Commercial School in the area of the Castle.
The Venetian Castle, that was built during the long Venetian rule (1204 AD - 1537 AD). It is located on a hill which is the natural acropolis of the town. A medieval town in the heart of the Aegean still in its original form, inhabited continuously since 1207 AD.
Portara. This monument is a massive gate, that remains from a temple that was dedicated to Apollo. It was built during the 6th century BC, when Naxos was a commercial and cultural centre.
